The seaside village of Moelfre on the eastern side of the Isle of Anglesey, just off the North Wales coast, is a charming olde worlde spot and a place the Liz and I visit regularly for a walk on our tours of North Wales beauty spots.
As a former fishing and lobstering centre, the small pebble beach is festooned with old boats and lobster pots slowly decaying in the wind and weather.
It was one of those small boats that caught my eye on this particular occasion, with its once bright orange colour now fading and patchy, slowly reverting to nature as lichen takes hold on the exposed fibreglass.
A bit of careful framing to exclude any element that distracted from the main message of genteel decay, a press of the shutter and we were once more on our way around the headland to take in the beautiful views.
