This is Cupecoy beach on the island of St Martin in the Carribean, photographed as the sun was setting on another glorious day's holiday.
Cupecoy is a designated nudist beach, but there must have been a chill in the air that evening, as they had all gone home when I arrived for the sunset!
Seriously though, have you ever turned up unawares on a topless or nudist beach carrying a DSLR on a tripod with a monster zoom lens attached? You get some funny looks!
The low light levels at this time of the day allowed me to use a longer shutter speed than was possible in the midday sun, so I could blur the ebb and flow of the waves breaking over the coral. A study in tranquility.
