Time to get off the beach I think!
This photo was taken on the seafront at Galway on the west coast of Ireland, looking out over the Atlantic towards the mountains of the Burrens National Park.
The weather on this day was fantastic - bright sunshine followed by storm followed by bright sunshine again, all on a 30 minute cycle and, although I took many photos in the bright sunshine, this one to me sums up the whole west of Ireland experience.
The sheer drama of the weather is brought out clearly in this stark image of a cloudburst that was speeding our way, with the beach rapidly emptying of the few foolhardy teenagers who were braving the elements on that day.
