On a sunny day a cruise liner becomes a photographer's playground.
Mind you - I wasn't expecting to find life sized humanoid sculptures dotted around the decks of the P&O liner Azura, as Liz and I enjoyed a cruise up to Iceland and back.
So I took advantage of one of the few bright days at sea to photograph the pieces, by Andrew Sinclair, wherever I could find them.
I found the sinuous curves of these completely white statues captured the directional sunlight beautifully.
Here is a photo of an artist's plaque next to one of the sculptures, giving some background to the works.
And you can also check out some of his other works on his website www.andrew-sinclair.com.
