On a sunny day a cruise liner becomes a photographer's playground.
This is the P&O liner Azura, which I spent a day photographing as we sailed north up the Irish Sea from Southampton to Belfast under what proved to be one of the very few sunny days of our venture to Iceland and back.
For this image I climbed (took the lift actually!) up as high as I could get to achieve this view of the funnel arrangement.
Aiming for a surreal feel to the final image, I rotated my polarising filter to the max, which rendered the vivid blue sky almost black, allowing the shining superstructure to really stand out.
