When my wife Liz and I go on a cruise, I always make sure I take a photo of our cruise liner docked in an exotic location.
This is the P&O liner Azura, tied up to the dock at a very unusual location, Akureyri on the north coast of Iceland, just below the Artic circle.
As cruise locations go, this is far from the normal sun-kissed tropical paradise that liners are usually photographed against.
With grey, cloudy skies, a chilly breeze and intermittent drizzle, it definitely wasn't shorts and tee shirt weather.
But that wasn't the point of this cruise, and this photo reflects the conditions that prevailed pretty much for the duration of our stay in Iceland.
Regardless of the weather we had a amazing time seeing the sights, sounds and smells of this unique and wonderful country.
The ship was pretty amazing too, towering eighteen decks high over the towns and harbours where we stopped.
